I just cook it in a pan with butter (actutally I use SmartBalance but
butter is good too) and chunks of cream cheese. I like to let the cream
cheese melt in the butter a bit, kind of smooshing it around with the
spatula, and then I add fresh spinach and cook it some, but not a lot,
because I like it still a bit firm and chewy. You can do it with canned
spinach too, which is cheaper. Sorry I don't have measurements, I don't
measure anything. I just keep adding stuff until I like the way it looks.

2 grams of sugar, my guess is from the dairy. The website doesn't give
ingredients, just the nutrition information.

Boston Market is one of my kids' favorite restaurants so I downloaded their
nutrition facts a long time ago.

There is plenty of flour or cornstarch added.

Basically, spinach, butter, cream cheese, and a little chopped onion.
You can add sme heavy cream to make it smoother, which I prefer.

One option is after it's all combined, put it in a baking pan with
thin sliced tomatoes on top and a sprinkling of grated parmesan
cheese.

I make it this way:

1 10 oz package frozen spinach, thawed and excess water squeezed out
1 T butter
1/2 small onion, chopped fine
1 small clove garlic, chopped fine
heavy or light cream, probably between 1/4 and 1/2 cup, I don't
measure
Couple of tablespoons parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Sautee onions and garlic in butter until softened. Add spinach, stir
around till combined. I usually let it warm a little, then add the
cream and parmesan. Stir and cook till cream is desired thickness (or
add more cream if you find it's too thick -- this is why I don't have
actual measurements here) and till everything is bubbly, warm, and
delicious. Salt and pepper to taste.

It's about 19 carbs with 9 fiber for the whole recipe done with heavy
cream.

You can make this with fresh spinach too; just cook the spinach all
the way before you add the cream. I just find frozen is more
convenient.

Make sure you drain the spinach well...I squeeze it out. If it's too
wet it will make the sauce runny.
